Summary:
The air filter is your main line of defense
against dirt and debris. It should be checked
often, almost daily depending on conditions. A
little known feature of many newer air
cleaners is that the rubber piece on the
bottom of the cap can be squeezed to release
any large pieces that have collected in the
trap. It is possible to try and clean air
filters, we recommend not doing more than
simply knocking the filter on the floor.
Chemicals should not be used, nor air
pressure. Its simply too easy to damage a
filter and subsequently destroy the engine.
