Summary:
When draining the oils from a tractor its best to let them sit for a day and watch and see if any particles settle out. This can be a good indicator of wear and tear. Before draining its best to start a machine briefly so that all the fluids are stirred up and the residues are dispersed before being drained. Otherwise they may end up sitting at the bottom of the casing and not flowing out with the oil.
