Summary:
On-Road fuel is subject to heavy government regulation. Increased awareness of the environmental impact of our fuels has led to regulation that has been changing the formulas for gasoline and diesel on an almost regular basis. Most recently the levels of sulfur have again been lowered which further reduces the amount of lubrication your engine receives from the fuel itself. This can be replaced using a high quality sulfur additive.
