i have a new dx55 with ehss trans that is and has been hard shifting from forward to reverse. When you shift from either forward or reverse the motor almost chokes off in high range or spins the wheels. i would think that it should be more of a smooth transition for comfort 1 but also for longevity on differential. I have not drove another tractor with the ehss so I dont know if it is normal or if I have a problem with mine. I just purchased in new in 7/08 and only has 70 hrs on it. if you are familiar with this please let me know.
