My friend and I are thinking about stretching the frame (about 3 feet) on a Cub Cadet 125 with a hydro transmission and adding a dump bed to the back. I assume I would have to extend a "drve shaft" from the motor back to the hydro pump to drive the pump. Another question we had, it appears the rear end is used as a resivoir for the hydro fluid and there appears to be only one hose/pipe from the rear end back to the hydro pump. Is the hose/pipe a return line or is it a high pressure line? Could we "T" into it to run the cylinder to be used to dump the bed? Any other words of wisdom/caution would be greatly appreciated. And if you think this is the beginning a a great blunder, that would also be appreciated. Thanks so much...........

Why reinvent the wheel? The tractor has a hydraulic cylinder for the lift, why not simply unhook it and extend those hoses to your bed dump? Or, if your wanting to keep this in place, add a electric over hydraulic diverter to that circuit.
