Started LX865 in cold weather (20 deg). Finally turned over but was shut down before warming up. When trying to start again, after turning key to run, glow plug countdown does not occur. Have tried several times over several days with same results. Is there anything to turn glow plugs on and continue startup cycle?

Some of the older units have a manual over-ride button on the right side, above your head, next to the electronic dash. When you try to use this button, you might need to put your loader in the service mode to use. After the loader starts, you can switch back to the run position so your boom and bucket will work. If nothing I just told you works, you may have a preheat relay not working. This relay is in the engine compartment, on the fuse box, and has three bolts. Check the cover of the box to locate which relay. You should also pull all fuses and check each one. I should also tell you, you do not have glow plugs for each cylinder. These units have a manifold heater that heats the air going into the engine.
