Help, trying to rebuild me water pump from my New Holland skidsteer. L555 S/N 811188. I believe it to be a 1991 model. It has the Kubota V1902 engine. I have pulled the fan mounting flange off but I am not sure how to remove the rest of the pump. I tried pounding on the shaft to drive it out...pounding on the end where I removed the fan mounting flange. Does it need to be pressed out. Does the aluminum housing need to be heated. At $250 I do not want to wreck it. Thanks for your help. Jeff

Jeffery
Once the pump is removed from the engine the bearing assembly is held in the pump housing with a retaining clip, remove the clip and the bearing assemble must be pressed out. When re-assembling the pump care must be taken not to damage the new seal and also when disassebling the pump make a note to how deep the bearing assemble is in the pump housaing and the new one must be pressed in the same depth for proper sealing and for proper alingment of pulleys. You can find a break-down of the parts on our web-site.
