I am getting different part numbers for the blade belt. Can you help me out?
I have an LT1045 46" deck
Some of the diagrams say belt is:
754-04118 (my manual)
754-04153 (online)
754-04033 (online diagram)
There are 5(five) pulleys on my deck (2 are tension/idlers) some of the diagrams only show 4 pulleys (with only 1 being idler/tensioner)on the 46" deck.
I broke the belt last summer but did not find a correct belt, and the grass kept growing. I have been running a belt that is too short (4-pulley belt? -04033 )and bypassing one of the idler/tension pulleys. It is very load with the vibration of the by-passed pulley, but it works.
Can you help me?
Thanks,
Philip

Follow the diagrams and part numbers that are listed online. Part numbers change and supercede from one to the next. Whats on the website is always current. There are two variations of the LT1045. Check the chasis for the product code. It starts with 13AX####. When looking up the diagram check that to make sure you are looking at the right variation. Thats probably why the deck pullies look wrong.
