Use extreme caution when removing gearbox pulley. Definitely use a puller and DO NOT pry against gearbox case. Fortunately I had an old gearbox to practice on and I snapped the shaft keeper ring inside the gearbox. The hardest part about this job is finding or modifying a puller to pull the pulley.

Use A 1 1/2 inch piece of pipe and a hammer to gently seat the seal equally. Apply Vaseline or grease to seal rim before installing.
