This training is designed to teach non-medically trained individuals how to “stop the bleed” when people experience a trauma involving extensive bleeding.     QPR is an emergency mental health intervention for suicidal persons created in 1995 by Paul Quinnett. An abbreviation for Question, Persuade and Refer, the intent is to identify and interrupt the crisis and direct that person to the proper care. There is a disproportionately high suicide rate in the agricultural and large animal veterinary sectors. Join us to help learn the signs, possible ways you can help, and where to get help for those who need it the most.
