Make sure you have large angled snap ring pliers. The axle snap ring was hard to remove with my small one and the bore has sharp edges where I cut my finger as it slipped. The seals were loose in the bores requiring only finger pressure to push in so I used Permatex to make them more secure since they were leaking around the outside of the seal before the repair.

Think it took me longer to find all my tools than it did to replace the rear axle seal, bearing, & both snap rings. You need to drain the hydraulic oil. You’ll also need a good set of reversible snap ring pliers or one set each of external/internal to do the job right & fast.

Use a 1" by 8" piece of wood and a small hammer or mallet to tap in until flush
