I had to remove the bottom front shaft assemble to get this lever off the shaft. I tried to press the lever off the shaft with a press and it was impossible. I ended up cutting the shaft between the lever and the assembly. This meant I had to replace the shaft, but it was less expensive then breaking the assembly. Even after I cut the shaft and then for giggles press the shaft out of the lever i was up over 15 tons of pressure on the press before it broke loose.
