Had the control valve out of the tractor and I removed the old line from the bracket (where the quick disconnects are). It has a check valve nipple on the end of the line to remove. When I reinstalled the line back I left the nuts loose on the bracket for the quick disconnects while I installed the joint with the Orings. I lubed the Orings and screwed the banjo bolt in as far as I could by hand.
I torqued the banjo bolt to 40 ft lbs (torque is different for different size banjo bolts, mine were 3/4" threads with 1" nut on top). I tightened the bracket nut, and installed the quick disconnect check nipple (used locktite 745 made for hydraulic fittings). I replaced the Orings on the other lines as preventative maintenance. I also replaced a line running to the back, that was cracked on the inside but not the outside. Put it all back together, and so far it hasn't leaked.
