Installing this is a bit of a puzzle. You have to remove a few other parts in order to get this part, and the rod end joint, installed. But it's all self-evident what has to be done. Apparently it's a common problem for the bolt to shear out of this piece.

My problem on my LA1065 was the joint (rod end) (7k530-71180) striped out of the control lever (7J266-62210) so i wanted/needed to replace both. What was worse is that when I was removing the joint (rod end) from the lock lever (7J266-62163) the screw on the lock lever broke off (the screw is welded to the lock lever so I had to order the 7J266-62163 also). All 3 parts were very easy to replace.
