After unscrewing the four mounting screws, and fifth for the unlocking lever, unscrew plastic lock (top portion), and remove cover. Un-bolt top and bottom 10mm bolts, remove the pin from the locking mechanism on the bottom, pull key lock out (this is key), THEN remove whole assembly (inner and outer), replace bracket, unscrew lock assembly from old bracket (3 screws), and replace. Without moving the key-locking cylinder at the bottom, you will not be able to properly remove the outer-handle assembly.
