Remove the light/turn signal switch in two parts. The top turn light know prys up and off as does the turn signal lever. Remove the four bolts holding on the cowl around the instrument cluster and the Phillips screw in the center of the cowl just above the tach. The cowl can then be removed by lifting it from left (facing the steering wheel) to right and gently prying and lifting. The throttle lever can be manipulate to assist with removal. The switch can be lifted up through the dash mounting by pushing in on the side latches. Once it's free lift it up through the dash and gently pry the latches connecting the switch to the wiring. Replace the new switch in the same orientation to the plug as the old.
Turn the ignition switch to the on position and confirm the new switch operates to turn the flashers on and off. Push the switch connected to the wiring down through the dash mount until the latches click. Replace the cowling in reverse order of removal.
