Remove driver's side wheel. Remove rear seat base plate under the seat. I couldn't get a puller on the arm so I lightly tapped the arm near the shaft with a drive punch and hammer. Once it moved a little I was able to use a pry bar with pressure on it and the hammer and punch to remove it the rest of the way. I used anti seize and a brass drive to tap the new one on. Not as bad of a job as I thought that it would be.

Remove seat support bracket. 2 bolts. Must have external snap ring pliers. Heat large part of arm casting with propane torch. Be careful fuel tank is plastic. I used never seize on the splines when installing new arm. To avoid having to replace this part investigate any mower lifting issues immediately. An ignored broken weld on the mower rear lift link (k2581-44202) broke this part.

Having a helper would cut down on time. Other than that pretty straight forward.
