Kubota uses steel fasteners with thread compound where the lens bolts to the bonnet. For me, the two carriage bolts quickly spun in the square hole in the bonnet plastic.
You can avoid that.
Use a locking pliers to hold the end of the carriage bolt while you back off the nut with an open end wrench. Eventually, you'll be able to grab the carriage head and get the bolt out.
Everything else about the lens replacement went smoothly.
