Boss and 2 spring plates should fit into blade Arbor hole, seat into spindle then carefully tighten bolt into spindle.

Securely raise the mower high enough sp accessing the spindle nut is easy and can also clean the deck good. Make sure you have the dust cup all the way up and spindle nut is snugged to factory specs.
