I thoroughly clean gear box and then spray off with alcohol to remove oils before applying a liberal amount of permatex black gasket maker

Remove mower deck, Chock Rear wheels, then Chock back of Front Wheels. Raise front of tractor 1/2". Remove bolts holding drive shaft, loosen From holder 1/4" inch, then remove Back ASSY Holder bolts. Then disconnect front drive shaft then the BACK ASSY Holder can be removed.
