Raise front of ZD21 mower by cranking front axle crank. Clamp a visegrip on the universal joint on the shaft between the mower output and deck input to prevent rotation. Using a 30 mm socket or wrench remove bolt in center of blades. Remove washers and replace. Reverse procedure to reassemble
