I installed this on a 50-year-old New Holland haybine, and needed to replace the #60 roller chain it carries. Inserting the master link to close the chain was a struggle, mostly because of access, until I hit on the idea of inserting the link from the front, but only part way. This held the ends of the chain together and made inserting (another) master link from the back all the way, displacing the temporary front-inserted link. I expect experienced mechanics know this trick already, but I'm new to this, and maybe I'm not the only one. I hope this helps someone else.
