Check Every 50 Hours

Test 1: Switch for the accelerator
- Make sure that gear shift is in “Neutral”.
- Press down on accelerator.
- Turn key to “Start”.
- Engine should not crank. If it does, have your tractor serviced.

Test 2 : Switch for the PTO clutch lever
- Make sure that gear shift is in “Neutral”.
- Make sure that accelerator is not engaged.
- Engage PTO clutch.
- Turn key to “Start”.
- Engine should not crank. If it does, have your tractor serviced.

Test 3: Switches for the operator's seat and accelerator
- Make sure that gear shift is in “Neutral”.
- Start engine.
- Press down on accelerator.
- Stand up without getting off of tractor.
- Engine should turn off. If it does not, have your tractor serviced.

Test 4: Switches for the operator's seat and the PTO clutch lever

Start engine.

Engage PTO.

Stand up without getting off of tractor.

Engine should turn off. If it does not, have your tractor serviced.

Applying Grease:
Apply a small amount of multipurpose grease to battery terminals as well as grease fitting in floor directly in front of reverse pedal.
(Applies to BX00 and BX30-Series.

Checking Wheel Bolt Torque:
Check wheel bolts regularly to the following torques:
Front: 149.2 – 179.0 N-m (110 – 132 ft-lbs.) Rear: 108.5 – 130.2 N-m (80 – 96 ft-lbs.)
This is especially important on a new tractor.
