The New Holland D Series is defined by its versatility and power, driven by the FPT Industrial F5 3.4-liter, four-cylinder engine that is compliant with stringent Tier 4 Final regulations. This engine offers power from 74 HP up to 110 HP depending on the model, and features an advanced throttle control system paired with three new fuel-saving modes, ensuring optimal economy and reduced wear without compromising performance. Productivity is accelerated by the powerful hydraulics system, which can be configured with either a twin gear pump for simple, constant flow or a variable displacement pump that reduces fuel consumption by only supplying oil on demand—an ideal solution for intensive backhoe work. The ability to utilize a wide range of attachments, including 4-in-1 and 6-in-1 front loader buckets, and specialized backhoe tools, ensures a single D Series machine can tackle virtually any task.

Operator comfort and machine longevity are central to the D Series design. The Welcome Aboard cab is significantly improved, featuring an extra 10% space, a complete redesign of the right-side console for better control layout, and the addition of new rear side windows for better visibility when transitioning to backhoe operation. Noise levels have been reduced by 3 dB(A), and convenience features—like two lockable storage compartments, two USB ports, and a Bluetooth® radio—keep the operator focused and productive. Furthermore, the D Series is designed to spend more time working and less time in the shop, offering long 500-hour engine and 1,000-hour transmission service intervals, with all key daily check points conveniently grouped for single-side, ground-level access.
