Well, it’s a helluva lot easier to install than it was to remove the old one. Take two of the smallest flat screwdrivers you have. You will eventually hold your mouth just right and get one of the screwdriver tips underneath to pry out one side.

Slide ring down PTO shaft and use a pair of snap ring spreader pliers to spread apart some. Then have someone tap around ring with center punch until it will slide further down PTO. Keep doing this until it’s seated in slot. Take punch and tap around seated ring to ensure it’s properly seated as well.
