On my B2601, popping the dipstick and draining the oil before removing the filter ensures little oil will drip out the filter flange.

Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the filter is tight to a hose making it slightly difficult to get the filter wrench on it.

Filter surrounded by cables and other parts, makes it difficult to get a band-style oil filter wrench on it for removal. Recommend a #3 cap-style wrench. Recommend tin foil to cover the wiring harness underneath filter to keep oil off it.
