This was a very easy replacement. After the fender and belt have been removed, take a sharp blade to cut through the heat shrink on the wires connected to the tractor. Be careful not to cut the wires themselves. The leads are both the same color which can be a little confusing, but one lead is on the bottom, making it slightly longer. That is the indicator to which lead connects to which on the tractor. Be careful to check this before disconnecting the wires. Once everything is back together, test your battery with a voltage meter and make sure you have between 13-14volts while the reactor is running. This will show proper charging from the alternator/dynamo. Once the voltage is confirmed correctly, you can go ahead and heat the shrink tube on the connectors.

Insulated leads from old dynamo to wiring harness were melted/molded at the connection joints (2). Required utility knife to carefully remove. Both leads are blue which is confusing.
