This gearbox was installed on a Bush Hog RDTH 72-inch finish mower. Time included disassembling and reassembling the mower. The key to installing this gearbox is getting a socket big enough to remove the nut on the output spindle from the old and reinstalling the nut on the new one. It takes a 1 13/16 SAE or 46mm metric. One cause for pause is the output shaft on the original gearbox was the same diameter for the length of the shaft and requires a bushing to make everything fit. The output shaft on this gear box is a larger diameter and is milled to match the match the diameter required to mount the pulley. Thus, acting as a stop for the pulley. I went back to the parts diagram, and the bushing wasn't shown so I assembled it without the bushing (as it doesn't fit). Everything lined up, I have mowed a 5 acres field with no issues.
