Had to use a combination of bp blaster and heat to remove bolts. Then cleaned bolt holes with sandpaper and added anti-seize compound to new bolts before installing

biggest tip…take blade off every time you need to sharpen blade. i didn’t in the 30 years I’ve had my SQ48 bush hog. i always just laid on the ground and ground a sharp edge on the blade. Took me hours to get bolts out, they were so seized.It’s quite a story how I finally succeeded , one bolt seemed like it was welded in place .when i had both bolts out new bolts and blades assembles easily in 10/20 min. oh and on assembly put a little “ no-sieve” on the threads of the bolts but “not” the shaft of the bolt.
