This backhoe seat is intended for light-duty, stationary digging only. It is not designed for applications where the backhoe may cause sudden movements or jolting. For any such applications, the operator must use the tractor’s factory-installed swivel seat, equipped with appropriate safety restraints. The assembly pin that comes with is too long, so it hit a hose to the right. This required me to take apart and find a pin that would fit. A comment is that the seat is way too close to the control bars. It would be beneficial if the seat could be set back another 6 inches of more.

This is a great backhoe seat for light duty jobs to avoid having to lift and rotate the bulky and cumbersome seat on the BX tractor. The backhoe seat is easy to install; however, it is a bit wobbly in use. I installed a rubber grommet in the bracket (took some time to work it in with a flathead screwdriver) before installing the bolt and lynch pin. The rubber grommet adds enough pressure and friction that the wobble is now negated. Super easy solution!

The pin that came with the seat is too long. It rubs the hydraulic lines/connectors on each side. I would think that over time from engine vibration the pin will do some damage to the lines. I took the pin to a machine shop and had the pin shortened so it doesn't rub.

Had to cut off both ends of the pin (with a cut off wheel on my hand held grinder, then smoothed out the edges with my table grinder) to be able to get it at the right angle to pass through on my 2012 kubota bx25. It looks great and functions well!

I placed shims on both sides to take out the slop side to side movements. Still trying to figure out how to get the bicycle seat to stay in one position when operating the backhoe. No matter how tight I tighten the seat it still rocks back-and-forth when working backhoe and hard dirt

I have a 2019 bx 23s. The pin to install the seat interfered with the hydraulic coupling. I needed to cut off part of the head of the pin so it would work. Also, you will need to remove the two hoses to remove the seat. I think this will work fine on newer models of the BX 23S. Staff was very attentive to my concerns and gave me a credit

I Bought this for a Workmaster 25S and it fits just like on the BX. but I did weld a piece of metal to the top of the seat rest that is bolted to the three-point top link for the seat to rest against. but it will work without doing that just fine. even with the modification total install was 30 min. max

The seat kit should be an easy install for those without a cab and should work well. I did have to bend a hydraulic line to provide clearance for the pin. With my cab, the framing stops the seat from going back far enough for the seat to go into the locking position, so I have more work to do. I believe I can cut a slot in the frame where the seat support hits to make it lock properly.

I own a 2013 BX25D. The clevis pin that came with the seat was too long. The pin blocked the hydraulic connections. I had to make a pin so I could connect the hydraulic lines.
