Installation Tips

Perfect fit for my 1979 Kubota B7100. It took me a little longer as the head was very oily and dirty. I took extra care to clean it with the cover on first. They old gasket was so stiff and hard that it came right out of the cover. Oiled the new one and Torqued it to 9 foot pounds. No leaks and no smoke from oil getting on the exhaust manifold.

Bought this gasket for my 1980 B-7100 HST. It was not the right size, had to remove about 1" to make it fit. Worked fine after applying some gasket sealer to the underside of the head cover and the joint where I trimmed it.

clean both cover and head, apply to cover with flat edge up and work into each curve install cover and tighten to specs.
