Kubota #6C040-55424 SWITCH

This installation was on a Kubota B7300HST Tractor. Installation was very easy. Start by removing the instrument panel by gently prying from the top of the panel, using the two the notches provided for this purpose. Once the panel is loose, pull it back gently and unscrew the tachometer cable. Now the panel can be moved out of the way while leaving the electrical harness connected. Reach in through the opening and disconnect the Combination Switch harness plug. Next, reach under the panel where the back of the switch is and gently press the tabs on the right and left sides of the switch and pull upwards on the switch and it will come out of the panel. (Look at the new switch to see the tabs I mentioned). Install the new switch by simply feeding the wiring and switch into the hole in the panel and press firmly to snap it into place. Reconnect the harness plug. Move the panel back and reconnect the tach cable. Now, starting at the bottom put the instrument panel back in place and snap it in at the top. You're done.

Pull battery connection. Loosen Tach/Instrument panel & carefully rotate CW away from switch. Reach in & release plastic paddle retaining clips (2x) on switch. When loose pull up, find electrical connection & unplug. Reverse everything with new switch. Before seating Instrument panel, hook up battery & ck new switch operation. Remove battery connection & finish panel assembly. Clean battery terminals, chk fluids, hook up and you're good to go.
