Kubota spray paint was and exact match to factory paint. After proper preparation of the metal, a light scuff and removed all oils with mineral spirits and left to dry for about 15mins. I did used a heat gun to warm the metal prior to painting. I then hung the insert with string and S hooks from the rafters in the shop to gain access to all areas to ensure I had no missed areas. The spray paint was applied in several light coats until desired finish and complete coverage was obtained. I then left hanging to completely dry overnight. Installation was exactly as stated on the YouTube video Neil posted. Thanks Neil, for all the helpful tips on tractors, equipment and accessories through the years. VERY HELPFULL!

make sure your area is clean and prime bare metal before you paint.

Paint matched great. I had some scratches on the step and floor board. I sanded lightly and wiped down with mineral spirits and painted them.
