Kubota #75554-64600 Hydraulic Cylinder Component Part for Boom and Bucket Cylinders

Use a heat gun to slightly heat the hard plastic ring then cut the top and bottom of a soda can off and slice the remaining sleeve in half and coil that thin aluminum sleeve around the cylinder piece and carefully slide the plastic ring over the aluminum until it drops into the proper slot. While it is still warm squeeze slightly to make sure it is round and properly seated. Makes it easy to install without investment in fancy tool.

For this particular cylinder, it was easier to just push with fingers the inner seal than having to mess with an install tool. Seal kept coming off the tool. Also, for that rigid outer ring seal, I put it in hot water for a bit to make it more pliable and easier to position into the deep groove.
