Step one is to remove the housing. The are 6 screws to remove and be careful with the 3 tubes on the right side of the housing. You do not have to remove them; however you can very easily if you wish. Step two is to remove the red (hot wire) from the solenoid. Then there are only two bolts that hold the starter to the motor. Once you remove the starter, then disconnect the red wire from the old starter(on the bottom right side) and reattach to the new starter. Screw the 2 bolts into the new starter that holds it to the motor. Last step is to connect the red wire from the starter to the solenoid (reverse of step 2)
