Installation Tips

As long as you have a couple of the correct tools like Gearwrench 1/4" adjustable spanner wrench and I used tool J-46620 from Freedom Racing tool and auto, llc to get the one hard seal over the metal and into its groove. With those 2 tools the job is a breeze and I could do the next one in 30 minutes, this was my first so took longer.

use a heat gun to slowly soften the hard seal, it will allow you to stretch it over the piston easier.

Took a couple hours for me including cleanup. But I am slow and take my time...lol. Pay attention to seal placement and direction. Would have rated a 5 on ease of installation except for the teflon seal on the piston. It is a pain in the A!@. There may be a tool out there for it. I gently locked the piston in a vise (end to end) not on the sides. Then just worked with the seal until it went on, Then took a hose clamp and compressed it back into shape after it was back in the groove.
