G1800 PTO belt replacement: I've found it easier to do most of the replacement from above. Take the hood off, move filter canister out the way, remove canister support and battery. Only underside task is take springs off tightener assembly so it's free to keep out of the way. You have easy access to the (4) bolts on PTO pulley this way and it's also easier to clean everything in vicinity before reversing the process to install new belts. If the back belt got off track to the rear and off the pulley, check the PTO brake shoe position to make sure it's not bent. Shoe should be centered on rear flange of pulley. If not, just bend it back. The PTO brake arm is a bit flimsy.
