Installation Tips

Have a catch pan ready under the old filter before you remove it as this is a suction filter on the LX and as soon as you start to unscrew it, the entire tractor will start to drain out. Be ready with your new filter under the tractor before you start, but don’t be in such a hurry that you cross thread it or get dirt in it. I was ready ahead of time and I still lost a quart or so.
