Replaced both ps hoses at once. They are thicker than factory so they won't both fit through sleeve. Best to wrap one separately in protective sleeve and remove guide bracket next to battery to fit through firewall opening

Connecting the hose at the steering cylinder end was a bit of a pain since there's very little space to allow finger tightening the connector. Wear gloves that allow better grip, and wipe off as much fluid as you can, if the nut is slippery, no easy way to start threading it on. Removing the front flywheel protective shield is a must.

remove the steering cylinder. I did not at 1st, was not able to get the one hose, I ended up removing the cylinder. much easier

The hose fit great, however on a BX, getting to the right side due to the frame was difficult. I took off tie rod and steering coupler in order to access hose fitting. When tightening the hoses, connect them at the steering wheel because once you tighten at the steering coupler, the hose do not move at the steering wheel.

You should replace all 4 steering hoses while you're at it. This is quite an adventure. Remove dash, left rear wheel, drop steering cylinder down. There are some fittings on supply and return that are near impossible to reach.
