I would not have been able to complete this installation without going online for help. There is no obvious way to take the hydraulic cylinder apart (no end cap). Also, there is extremely limited space in which to remove the cotter pin holding the cylinder in place. Found it easier to cut the legs off instead of bending them straight to pull the pin out.

Remove cylinder Remove hydraulic nipple to see metal clip holding shaft in place. Using curved pick get under clip from backside and tap shaft to help roll clip into grove just infri t of clip locking position. Pull shaft out needs to be stand straight up to remove once clip is released. My seals lasted 20 years. I will never need to replace.
