Both back tires need to be off to have better access. No need to drop hydro or anything else.
Passenger side fan is very easy to replace. Used impact with extension and took less than five mins. The driver's side is difficult, very tight working area and can not get to the nut from the top. to break loose I went through the opening behind the wheel and used a wrench and hammer while someone held the pully. Once initial breaking loose was done I removed the battery to allow a little more room and removed nut tiny turn by tiny turn. patience. a ratching wrench it is a must. Was not hard just very time consuming on drivers side.
