I removed the crank handle from my zero trunk, then used an 11/16ths (I think) 12 point socket on an impact gun to turn the mechanism that self-jacks the front of the mower. It takes about 5 seconds to raise the mower up with its own jack system. Use an electric or pneumatic impact gun to remove the bolt holding the blades. Remove debris from the washers and hardware. Also, make sure to take off the protective cups on the bottom of the spindles and clean out all dirt, grass, and excess grease. Reinstall the pieces in the correct order paying close attention to the cupped washers. They should both be cupped toward the blade. Also, make sure spacer is properly seated, then hold the blade and hardware in place with one hand while finger tightening the bolt. Set a torque wrench to the proper amount (all of my machines use a max torque of 87ft.lbs.) if need be, use a piece of 2x4 or 4x4 blocking to hold blade in place while tightening.
