Have a block of wood cut to stop blade from turning. Raising the deck is half the time, make sure you align holes on right front tire to raise. Ensure you use other pin to lock raised deck so it won't fall. I keep a Kubota scraper near to remove dead, dried grass from bottom of the deck. Rust and leaving moist grass under your deck will cause you issues later on.

With the ZD1211-72 getting the mower up to change blades is half the battle. Ensure that front wheels are in correct position. Once up use a block of wood to stop blades from turning while taking off and putting back on. Keep your machine in good shape and it will perform.
