I read somewhere that to make the Pin replacement easier just use the new Pins to drive out the old Pins & You wouldn't have the trouble of aligning the Pins holes when installing the new Pins & it does make replacing the Pins very easy. With this being said, you have to be careful with the Pin that has the small end on it that goes on the bottom. I almost crushed it to where it wouldn't work but caught my issue just in time. I used the old Pin that I had taken out earlier & placed it on the side of the small end & drove the new Pin on in without difficulty. I hope this helps & makes sense.

I think the nut that is included in the kit is used as a jam nut after the rod is adjusted. I don't think that is mentioned in the instructions.. other than that it is pretty straightforward.

I watched a couple of YouTube videos on how to install this before I did it. One of them was very helpful. It showed taking one of the pins that has supplied with the indicator kit and putting it against the end of one of the pins that are already installed and pushing out the installed pin with the new pin so that the armature cannot move because as the old pin goes out the new pin is right next to it pushing it out taking its place. I agreased the new pins before putting them in and it was a breeze! One person on YouTube did not push out the old pins with the new pins and had to fight with a hydraulics on his front end loader arms in order to get the holes to line up again. And for me it was easy by using the new pins to push the old pins out. Make sure that you follow the directions for your model number of front end loader to make sure that the slot that holds the rod is in the correct position.

If you have a quick-release bucket then release the secure latches to take pressure off the hydraulic arms. Simply tap out the OEM pins using the new pins and a rubber hammer. Using the new pins for this procedure allows them to easily glide into position, keeping everything aligned as you do. Grease the new pins before you try to insert them. My old pins slid out and new ones in very easily this way. Took me less than 20 minutes from start to finish!

I used the new bolts to tap out the original bolts. They slid right in behind the old ones and kept everything in alignment. I put a little lithium grease on them before I tapped them in. Worked like a charm! Super easy install.
