Wire is right behind where switch is located. just grab a piece of wire with a hook in it to pull it back through the hole to plug into switch.

Plug and play into factory wiring loom. I removed plug fasteners on pillar cover, straightened out wire loom and fed through pre existing switch plate opening for easy plug in of switch. No cutting or fussing. Super easy

Pull off the plug hole cover, fish out the existing wire, connect the switch to the plug and stick it back into the hole. Took less than a minute.
