Installation Tips
I have an L3301 kubota tractor. The floor mat installation was a little tricky. The left side mat was easy to install but the right side with the HST pedal a little tougher. On the right side you definitely have to remove the two small bolts under the HST pedal since they interfere with the hole alignment on the locking tabs on the mat. Where you can't get your hand to pull down the locking tabs on the bottom of the mat because of tractor part interference, use a ball peen hammer to tap the tabs into the holes on the metal floor frame. Push down on the HST pedal to provide clearance to tap the tabs down. .

Super easy to install. I took a few minutes to wash and dry the metal floorboards to ensure they were clean before installing to minimize additional wear and/or corrosion. I used a bit of water with some dish soap in it to lubricate the rubber studs that go into the floorboard holes to hold the mat in position. A great add to my L2501!

Touch up the worn floor plates before placing the floor mats. I have found that Chevy orange engine paint is a perfect match for Kubota orange. Spray the rubber tits with soapy water and they easily pull through.

I used a pair of offset needlenose pliers to reach into the tight spots to help pull the rubber keepers into the floorboard holes.

Simple straightforward install. No need to remove pedal. I did remove the forward and reverse travel stop bolts. A little dish soap on the rubber tabs helps the install as well.

Once I got the first couple lined up and started popping them in even though the temperature was in the 30s they popped in and I had no problem jumped on my tractor and did not slip

Just put a drop of dawn dishwashing liquid on the little pegs, line up in the correct holes and push right in from the top. Easy as it can be. Looks great!!!

Pedal stop bolts both come out when installing mats and do not go back in . Makes install easier without bolts as well.

Use soapy water on the rubber tips and guide them into the floor holes before pressing down on the mat to push the tips into place.

I sprayed each of the “plugs” on the back of the mat with silicone lubricant. They snapped right into the matching hole on the floor plate.

Kubota recently introduced to the 02 series of the Standard L, the L 33-02, and the L 39- 02. When new models are introduced, they don't break the mold from the old one and completely change it around. And so we're able to go through the parts catalogs for this new model and try to find some of the improvements that can be carried back into the older machines. Today, we're going to show you the rubber floor mats from the L O2 and install them onto an L 25-01 tractor that I have here today. So, why rubber floor mats? Why do you want to consider doing this in the first place? There are a couple of reasons why these are considered a little bit more of a deluxe feature, or deluxe option, on some tractors. When you look at economy-oriented machines, you're usually going to find a simple metal floor pan like this. It does the job. Right? It gives you a place to step. The little holes here kind of create some slip resistance, but rubber floor formats are usually considered a better alternative for a couple of reasons. There are a little bit more anti-slip. These little pop-outs that are put in here will give you some traction for your boots, but a rubber floor mat is going to do a better job of that. They also help with keeping the noise down. These heavy, rubber pieces. They don't resonate.
