Allow 2 hours for removal and replacement. You must have one helper to hold the pipe for removal. Best tool is a T-post Driver and pipe for removal. For ease of service an impact wrench electric or pneumatic impact capable of 450+ lbs. of torque. The mounting shaft is tapered and a tight fit once it is installed. Do not hit more than two times on each side of the blade mounting arms to keep the release pressure even. Do not drive on the pan. It will take several hits to get the pan to release. Be patient. When it happens, it will be a full and quick release. For installation. mark the drive shaft to align castle nut for easy installation of cotter pin. Torque to proper torque specifications for blades and pan. This is very important. Brush cutter blades coming lose, or the pan is very dangerous for you and your equipment.
