Land Pride 803-278C is a hex nylock nut, also called a hex lock nut or nylon insert lock nut. Hex means hexagonal, and nylock refers to the nylon insert that helps resist loosening from vibration.

This part is used on select Land Pride DM3506 and DM3507 disc mower models in hitch and belt drive applications for serial number 253044 and above, as well as on the frame of select PD10 post driver models.
