This was per the person putting this in our skidsteer. He said to make sure that all pieces and debris is out of the filter area. He suggested to take a small amount of Hydraulic Oil and pour over the filter to help install it a bit easier.. Fill with the proper manufacturers suggested amount of hydraulic oil
