Cycle baler so needles are in full up position then remove cotter pin and detach cable. Pull safety latch forward and remove bolt from side of frame that one end of spring is attached to. Attached one end of spring to bolt and reattach. Use some spare baling wire and make a foot long loop and use that along with a rope to and pull rope until you can hook the other end of spring to the safety latch. You’ll need two people one under the baler to guide s hook with pliers and other to pull rope from back of machine to extend the spring. Remove wire loop. Check timing if timing off turn fly wheel counter clockwise on full crank revolution. Do not hook to tractor until you’ve double checked everything through a couple of cycles of the twister hooks It requires so patience!
